An aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) is a licensed person who certifies aircraft maintenance, and inspection authorization. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering shortly called AME is one of the basic and important operations of Aircraft Maintenance where the engineer ensures that the aircraft operates smoothly, properly, and safely.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Overall Role of an AME is to do the inspection, maintain the aircraft by proper servicing and repair them if needed overall completely take care of the Aircraft in all. A maintenance engineer solves finds & fixes problems, conducts inspections, and makes upgrades to aircraft. An engineer who takes up this role must be trained and certified, as well as compliant with all DGCA regulations.

Skills Required

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is a Training Program and not any degree and on completion of the Program, you will get a license issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Eligibility for an AME:
